1. How Long Have You Been In The Rap Industry?
Officially I have been doing music with the plan of going mainstream for a couple of consistent months from a professional perspective. I’ve been rapping since the age of 7 years old, and with consistent practice, I’ve gotten better over years by studying the greats. I take bits and hip-hoppieces from the hip hop legends who really have sold millions of records. They are using their god given talent and that’s what inspired me to focus on my craft day in day out. I recorded my first ever song at the age 18, but didn’t ever release it. I would say that was some what the start of my career. I do have a couple of music videos out on YouTube that will show some of my early work. You can find me on there at (D starks). Most of the music there has been released over that last 6 years. I was mainly Freestyle rapping over some of my favorite artist instrumental, but as of now I have my original single out on all music platforms, and the first project is due to drop July so stay tuned !!!!

2. Who Are Your Major Influences In Your Music?
Well in no particular order Ti, Eminem, and Jcole. Tip foremost is because he taught me how to rap and put my words together at the age the of 7 the year he dropped “I’m serious” to me it was just the best album ever seeing that he was a rapper coming out of Atlanta with lyricism, storytelling abilities, but having swagger and charisma while doing so. Shout out to TIP he inspired me and help me to discover and develop my gift. Next, I say Eminem because he taught me I could put my real raw emotions over beats and really express myself through music and talk bout things I deal with on daily. In a way usic can be therapy. You can talk about your true feelings and emotions. Last, but not lease J cole! To me cole is just a dope rapper all together. and I relate to him a lot. He reminds me of the normal kid in the hood who everybody knows but doesn’t do what everybody do you know? He shows that he is comfortable in his own skin but still not be a product of his environment. He was blessed enough not to get caught up in all the way in the streets. He more so tells story of things he has seen or what’s he was close enough to have gone through basically able to take life and turn it into great music.
