What inspired you to become an artist?

My Friend in High School and I grew up in music
dad had a television show Interviewing reggae Artist From Jamaica
and he was also a reggae artist himself.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

I”ll say 2pac, Jadakiss, Styples P, NAS
with a deep message in their music.

How would you describe your musical style?

Well my stage name is a shortening of my real name
Mannuel so I named and called my stage name Manny

Can you walk us through your writing and recording process?

I Write music based on my life experience mostly or Something that
Someone Close by me may experience and express it into my music

What message do you hope to convey through your music?

A Message that is uplifting and Positive

Can you tell us about your latest album or project?

My Latest single is called ”LIKE THAT” and it’s talking about
a female with a nice shaped body curve and i like how see moves her
body left and right to the music like that

What is the most challenging aspect of creating music for you?

Trying to get heard more by the masses.

How do you deal with criticism and negative feedback?

I Don’t take it personal whatever they may feel about
me that’s their opinion and they not paying my bills
and as long as it not physical they can say whatever.
it just guides me to be better and by continuing
hitting the recording studio recording new ideas.

What sets you apart from other artists?

I have my own sound I don’t sound like someone esle.

What was the biggest obstacle you faced as a musician, and how did you overcome it?

Being Shy on stage, I overcome it by interacting with each person in the crowd.

Who are your dream collaborations and why?

I don’t mind working with anyone but I would say one of my dream Artist Im willing
to do a collabo with would be Lauryn hill and Nas based on their conscious message in their music.

Can you discuss a time when you faced a creative block, and how you overcame it?

Yes Keep coming up with ideas and choose the best idea that makes sense.

What do you consider to be your biggest musical accomplishment?

Being on Hot 97 NYC, Power 105.1 The New York Post and on
Billboard in cleveland ohio NBA Allstar weekend in 2022,
and in Atlanta

How has your hometown and community influenced your music?

It Influence my music through the everyday gring and struggle that i
go through with the experience I faced in my community

What advice would you give to aspiring artist?

Skys is the limit hardwork and dedication pays off once you do that
you can reach to any level in the music business you set your mind to.

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not making music?

I like to be active playing basketball ,soccer hanging out with friends and watching Tv
or going out to a special event

What are your favorite and least favorite things about the music industry?

My Favorite thing about the industry is that as an artist you get to perform and
showcase the world your talent. Least thing as a artist don’t like is that some artist
don’t make alot of streaming and royalties.

How do you stay connected with your fans and supporters?

Keep them info with new ideas and what ever endeavors that
I maybe doing by posting it social media.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from your musical journey so far?

You Can’t trust everyone and that you have to know what
you are doing because the music industry is a shady business

Can you tell us about a memorable performance you’ve had?

Yes when I performed a record called God Loves you you hear
them voices in my head saying God Loves you at Irvington High School
in Irvington High School Irvington, NJ The crowd use electricfying and
they loved my performance I think that’s on of my best Performance So Far

What are your future plans for your career as an artist?

To Have multiple businesses and help out my community.

What is the biggest challenge you face as a performer?

Competiting with the greats like Jay Z, Fabolous,Jadakiss, NAS etc..

Can you discuss a time when you faced adversity and how you overcame it?

I was job hunting at the time looking for work I felt a little depressed but I continue going
and finally found something.

What do you think is the most important quality for a successful artist?

Interacting with fans and having a good stage presents

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals as an artist?

step in the studio and continue creating.

Can you tell us about a project or song that holds a special place in your heart?

The Song called “EVERYWHERE I TURN IS WAR which talks about Everywhere is war and that we need to stop the war against each other and create peace on earth.

What do you think is the role of an artist in society?

Teach the community with the music and also giving back.

What is your favorite and least favorite part of the touring process?

Going places meeting different people I like and being up Certain time late night don’t like all the time.
