1. How Long Have You Been In The Rap Industry?

I been the music industry for 8 years.

2. Who Are Your Major Influences In Your Music?

When it come to our style of music our influences originally was TLC, Aaliyah, Mindless Behavior and has developed to artist like Kehlani, black pink, and Ariana Grande just to name a few.

3. What Is Your First Single? –  Or What Single Do You Have Out Now?

Our single “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You” just released and is available now on all streaming platforms.

4. Who Do You Have On Your Album?

As of today we don’t have an album out just an EP from 2016 but we are looking forward to collaborating with other creatives on upcoming music.

5. How Did You Get Into The Music Industry?

We got into the music industry from just being inspired by Mindless Behavior and watching their process sparked something in us to want to entertain as a career. We already was dancing and doing talent shows but we leveled up what we were doing by adding singing and writing our own music.

6. Where Were You Born?  – Where Do You Live Now? 

I was born and raised in Decatur Georgia and I still reside there today.

7. Who Would You Like To Work With That You Haven’t Already?

I would definitely like us to work with Doja Cat, Chloe and Halle, Coi Leray, of course Nicki Minaj just to name a few.

8. Who Is Your Favorite Rapper You Like Right Now?

My favorite rapper to listen to right now would have to polo g. Just love his catchy hook and cadence in his music along with the hidden messages.

09. Who Do You Think Is The Hottest Producer Out?  –  What Would You Say To That Producer On Why They Should Work With You?

I feel like the hottest producer out now is Londonondatrack. I would say to him that he should work with us because it would be something different. He can be apart of the journey for the next girl group to blow and definitely add a lot to our sound as well.

10. How Did You Come Up With Your EP Title?

We don’t have an album out, however we are working on releasing an EP titled “Lvls 2 This”.

11. What Is Your Favorite Song On Your EP?

My favorite that is apart of this EP would probably have to be the song “Drip”. It’s just an overall different sound from us and I feel people would gravitate to it.

12. Which Song On Your EP Means The Most Too You?

The song that means the most would have to be “Mood” simply because that was a song we stood our ground for. At first listening to it the song it was the complete opposite on all the other tracks, but that’s what we love about it.

13. Who Are You Signed With?

We are not sign to any label. We are independent and work with a co management company called Sun and Sky Entertainment.

14. When Is Your EP Release Date?

We don’t have a tentative date yet, we are just pushing to release 2022.

15. What Cities Do You Plan On Touring?

The cities we will be hitting this year are Miami, New Orleans, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, NC to kick it off.

16. What Female Rapper Or Artist Do You Think Is The Sexiest?

I feel like Megan Thee Stallion is a baddie.

17. What Would You Like To See From The Music Industry Over The Next Year?

I would like to see more artist for all age groups killing the game. I feel like it’s only have people out there for 18 and up. When I was growing up we had certain artist like Justin Bieber, OMG Girlz, Fifth Harmony, Diggie Simmons.

18. What Is Your Second Single Going To Be?

The single that will release after “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You” is going to be Mood.

19. If You Could Compare Yourself To An Already Established Artist, Who Would That Be And Why?  

I would say Doja Cat because she has very fun music and her style is very tech and futuristic. I love her stage present and personality as a whole, this is something we have as well.

20. What Do You Think Your Listeners Will Get Out Of Your Music? 

I feel like they would be inspired and have confidence. Our music speaks on alot of self love and going for what you want. And we just present it in an exciting fun way.

21. What Were You Thinking About When Your Songs Are Developed? Explain Your Process?

I think about ideas and concepts that are relatable to my listeners along with what I am feeling or have experience. And my process starts with a topic and finding a melody to go with the beat.

22. Who Got You Started In The Music Industry?

Mindless Behavior is the group that got us started into the music industry.

23. What Made You Want To Get Into The Music Business? 

I have a passion for singing and inspiring people to go for their dreams not settling on something you don’t really have a love to do.

24. How Does Your Family Feel About Your Music And Your Choice Of Career?

My family supports our career 110%. They are investing just as much as we are and it feels good to have them see the vision we want for ourselves.

25. What Is The Most Difficult Thing You’ve Had To Endure In Life? 

For me it was just adjusting to the major changes that occur in life.

26. What Do You Hope To Accomplish With Your Music?

I hope to attend and win different awards for events like BET, VMAS, and the Grammys. Along with that leaving our mark on the industry and our audience. I would love for us to travel and collaborate with amazing artist.

27. What’s The Demographic You Are Trying To Reach Out To?

We are trying to reach kids that are in high school and college. Mainly our focus is the people around our age group.

28. How Do You Usually Come Up With Your Songs?

We just shoot out different topics and have a list of beats to work with. Sometimes we work with other writers and Collab on ideas.

29. What Is Your Goal And Height That You Want To Reach With Your Music?

I would love us to be main stream artist and the next household girl group and that our music lives on pass us.

30. What Influenced  You Outside Of Music That Has Helped You Form Your Style?

I feel the K-pop girl groups have inspired our style because their sound is pop with an edge. And how in sync they are when the perform and in music videos.

The name of our very first single is “Turning Up The Crowd” and our most recent single is “AIN’T THINKIN BOUT YOU”

4. Who Do You Have On Your EP?
On our “MAKO Girls Experience we collaborated with ‘Major League’ on a single called SLAY.

5. How Did You Get Into The Music Industry?
What got us into this industry was really watching how Mindless Behavior performed and traveled the world whilst being young. And that inspired us as kids to want to be in the entertainment industry.

6. Where Were You Born? – Where Do You Live Now?
We were born in ATL and we still reside there.

7. Who Would You Like To Work With That You Haven’t Already?
Some artist that we would love to collaborate with is Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Chloe x Halle, and Doja Cat.

8. Who Is Your Favorite Rapper You Like Right Now?
Our favorite rapper right now is definitely Megan Thee Stallion

09. Who Do You Think Is The Hottest Producer Out? – What Would You Say To That Producer On Why They Should Work With You?
A collab with Metroboomin would be dope! And us being able to work with them would be epic because we can add a different cadence and diversity to their tracks not only because of our harmonies but also because of the swag that we have.

10. How Did You Come Up With Your EP Title?
We came up with the name “Lvls 2 to this” by talking about how the project made us feel or from the whole vibe of the EP in general. And we kept saying it represents us leveling up and eventually we got to the phrase “Lvls to this “

11. What Is Your Favorite Song On Your EP?
My favorite song on the project is ‘Mood’ because the vibe of the song is completely different from the other tracks.

12. Which Song On Your EP Means The Most Too You?
The song “ AIN’T THINKIN BOUT YOU” resonates with us the most and the reason why is that we aren’t worried or fazed by what others are saying about us or we aren’t letting anyone distract us from goal. It’s tellin them that we ain’t thinkin bout you and we working hard towards our career.

13. Who Are You Signed With?
We are currently not signed at the moment. So we are fully independent.

14. When Is Your EP Release Date?
There’s no set date at them moment but the project will for sure be releasing in the Summer of 2022

15. What Cities Do You Plan On Touring?
The moment we go on tour we for sure want to go to are Miami, New Orleans, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Raleigh, NC.

16. What Female Rapper Or Artist Do You Think Is The Sexiest?
Doja cat is for sure a baddie.

17. What Would You Like To See From The Music Industry Over The Next Year?
In the next year it would be dope to see a ride of girl groups and a whole wave of new artist.

Our second single is ‘Mood’ from the project.

19. If You Could Compare Yourself To An Already Established Artist, Who Would That Be And Why?
Artist that we’d campare ourselves to music wise is definitely Kehlani and Doja Cat, the cadence of their songs to the way they sing but still have swag to it is how our music is most similar to.

20. What Do You Think Your Listeners Will Get Out Of Your Music?
From hearing our music our listeners would feel self empowered, confidence, and inspired to continue to work on their goals.

21. What Were You Thinking About When Your Songs Are Developed? Explain Your Process?
As we create our music the main focus is making sure that it is relatable. We discuss concepts and constantly shoot out ideas until we settle with one that we feel a strong connection to and know that the people would relate to it.

22. Who Got You Started In The Music Industry?
Once we figured out that we wanted to be in this industry we found a vocal coach at Marvelous Enterprise and started artist development there as well.

23. What Made You Want To Get Into The Music Business?
The artist that sparked our interest in wanting to be in the music industry was the boy group Mindless behavior

24. How Does Your Family Feel About Your Music And Your Choice Of Career?
Our family loved that we do this career. They have supported us from the beginning the moment we mentioned that we wanted to be a girl group. And to this day we they are our number 1 supporters

25. What Is The Most Difficult Thing You’ve Had To Endure In Life?
The most difficult in our life is definitely stepping out of our comfort zone. In this industry doing what you are comfortable with won’t take you far so you have to constantly push past your comfort zone daily. But it does help with the development of your craft and makes you stronger in the end.

26. What Do You Hope To Accomplish With Your Music?
With our music we hope to touch the youth with a positive message through our songs. By encouraging them to have fun, be confident, know your worth, and to work towards their dreams.

27. What’s The Demographic You Are Trying To Reach Out To?
Our target demographic are people around our age. Reaching to young adults to even middle schoolers/high schoolers.

28. How Do You Usually Come Up With Your Songs?
Most of our songs are generated from our experiences or things that we’ve been surrounded by.

29. What Is Your Goal And Height That You Want To Reach With Your Music?
Overall with our career we want to reach as many people as we can with our music, to represent a strong sister bond, and to break the negative stereotypes of girl groups.

30. What Influenced You Outside Of Music That Has Helped You Form Your Style?
We listen to a variety of artist and genres of music such alternative, Caribbean, K-pop, and more. And each influences our style, the beats we choose, and our cadences/melody’s

The Makogirls are the only ones on the ep.

5. How Did You Get Into The Music Industry?
We always had a love for music. We started in the music industry by watching the Mindless Behavior documentary it sparked a passion to perform for millions and travel all over the world. So we started dancing at parties and even performed for a talent show. After that we wanted to do more so we looked for a vocal coach and since October of 2013 we have been working ever since.

6. Where Were You Born? – Where Do You Live Now?
I was born and still live in Decatur, GA.

7. Who Would You Like To Work With That You Haven’t Already?
I would love to work with Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, and Melanie Martinez

8. Who Is Your Favorite Rapper You Like Right Now?
My favorite rappers right now is NF and Eminem.

The hottest producer to me is Michael Keenan. I would say that you should work with us because your beats would add a different personality and swag to our songs.

We came up with our EP title Lvls 2 this because we saw that we were going to another level of our career.

11. What Is Your Favorite Song On Your EP?
My favorite song from the EP is Mood. Because it’s a good mood changer it’s something different for the Mako Girls.

I would say for me is Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You because of the energy that it brings and the up lifting message in it.

We are independent artist but are signed to a co-management deal with company call Sun And Sky Entertainment.

We are not completely sure of the date for the EP, however it may be dropping during the summer.

I think Bruno Mars in because of his appearance and talent.

I would like to see more push for our music and music videos.

We are debating between mood or drip.

I would say Melanie Martinez and Doja Car because of their creativity and out for the box thinking.

They will get the message of self love, confidence, high energy, motivation, ATL Swag and fun.

21. What Were You Thinking About When Your Songs Are Developed? Explain Your Process?
When writing the song I want to come up with the most creative lines I can. If I get any writers block I would take a step back till I think of something that I feel would fit. And I would also as for help from my sisters as well. While recording the song I love to make the recording session as light hearted as possible to keep the creativity. Once I’m up to the mic I’m focused on making sure I feel what I’m saying and it come across that way in the recording.

We all get each other started in the music industry.

23. What Made You Want To Get Into The Music Business?
Just a general love for creating music, traveling and performing got us started in the industry.

24. How Does Your Family Feel About Your Music And Your Choice Of Career?
Our family is extremely supportive of our music and our career choice. They always brag about us to their friends.

25. What Is The Most Difficult Thing You’ve Had To Endure In Life?
Putting myself first that was something that was very difficult to me.

26. What Do You Hope To Accomplish With Your Music?
I hope that it reaches people and I hope that our music is something that can last a life time.

Kids, Teens and young adults is the demographic we are trying to reach.

We come up with our based off the things we have been through and seen.

I want us to be touring around the world, performing at festivals and award shows with our music.

I what influence outside of music is art, anime and sometimes motivational quotes or things people say.
